Say hello

Online ordering for Kansas City cafés, bakeries and restaurants

Regulars order ahead. You just hand it over.

Your regulars order and pay ahead from your own page, then just pick up. No delivery app taking a cut of every order, and orders land where you already ring things up.

  • $500–$900setup
  • $75/moupkeep
  • No app cuton any order

The same regular, two ways.

Someone who wants to order ahead and skip the line.

Without it

No way to order

  1. They call during the rush. Nobody can pick up.
  2. They see the line and leave.
  3. Or they order on a delivery app that takes a cut.

Lost the order, or paid a cut.

With it

Your order page

  1. They order and pay from your page.
  2. It’s bagged and waiting with their name.
  3. They grab it and go.

Paid ahead, no cut.

What you get

A free working demo with your real menu, before you decide
Your menu with options and add-ons: sizes, milk, fillings
Pickup times, how much notice you need, and a cutoff like “order by 6pm for tomorrow”
An easy way to mark an item sold out
Sales tax, tips and card fees set correctly
Orders land on Square, Toast or Clover if you use one, or on a tablet with a loud alert
The order link on your site, Google listing, Instagram and Facebook

The $75 a month covers menu, price and pickup-time changes, holiday hours and special-order windows, and fixing anything that stops working.

Work we’re proud of

Before ohelloo, Omar co-founded Tandoco, a wellness kitchen and bakery in Minneapolis, and built its website and ordering system himself.

Tandoco home page: a headline, a countdown to the weekly order cutoff and a how-it-works strip
Tandoco store on a phone: a zip-code check for delivery, the weekly price and the menu

Tandoco

Wellness kitchen and bakery · Minneapolis

  • Order by Thursday for Sunday pickup or delivery, with a countdown to the cutoff
  • A zip-code check, so customers see their own delivery days and pickup spots
  • Checkout with card, Apple Pay or Google Pay, then a text and an email when the order is confirmed and ready
  • Weekly plans customers can skip, pause or cancel online
  • A customer account, gift cards, and a screen for the kitchen to work through orders
  • A page for each menu item and each city served, so it shows up in local searches

Most small businesses need far less than this, and that is fine: a one-page site with tap-to-call does the job. It shows what we can build when you need more.

Tandocoins, the rewards program

“The more you order, the more you eat.”

  • Every order earns coins, and coins turn into real food: a free cookie, a smoothie, or a whole meal
  • Coins for signing up, for weekly streaks and for referring a friend
  • Three levels, Newbie, Foodie and Connoisseur, that earn faster the longer a customer stays
  • Rewards picked right in the cart, with the balance, history and a personal referral link in each customer’s account
  • Subscribe-and-save pricing, and a meal donated to a Minneapolis food shelf for every 10 ordered

The same idea, rewarding regulars so they come back, is behind our review requests, win-back messages and subscriptions.

Tandoco rewards page on a phone: eat, earn, repeat. Every order earns tandocoins, and tandocoins turn into real food

How it works

About 1 to 2 weeks after we have your menu.

  1. We find out what you ring up on today: Square, Toast, Clover or nothing. That decides the tool.
  2. We build a free working demo with your real menu and show it to you on your phone.
  3. We set pickup times, cutoffs, tax and tips, and connect it to the system you already use.
  4. We place test orders together: a normal one, one with options, and one that is cancelled and refunded.
  5. We put your order link everywhere customers find you.

Questions

Why not just use DoorDash or Uber Eats?

Delivery apps take a cut of every order. Your own order page costs a flat $75 a month plus normal card fees, and the customer orders from you, not from the app.

Do I have to change my register or point of sale?

No. We start from what you ring up on today, whether that is Square, Toast, Clover or nothing, so orders land where you already work.

Can I limit orders on busy days?

Yes. You set how much notice you need, a daily cutoff or limit, and you can mark items sold out whenever you need to.

What do I pay besides your fee?

Card processing fees and any software fees, paid directly in your name. We tell you what they are before you start.

How much does an online ordering page cost?

$500 to $900 to set up, depending on the size of your menu, then $75 a month for upkeep. The price is agreed in writing before any work starts.
